About Me
I am a PhD student at PEESE Lab, advised by Prof. Fengqi You at Cornell University. Previously, I was a Researcher at the Korea Basic Science Institute (KBSI), a government-funded research institute, for three years. I received my M.S. and B.S. degrees in 2020 and 2018 respectively from Inha University in South Korea, where I was affiliated with the Laboratory for Control and Information Systems (LCIS).
My research has focused on learning-based control, including model predictive control and reinforcement learning.
My research goal is to integrate theoretical approaches with intricate real-world challenges to develop a comprehensive framework for control and optimization.
To achieve this goal, I actively engage in research projects that leverage control and optimization techniques across diverse applications. These include electrified vehicles, power system optimization, and sensorless adaptive optics.
I dream of contributing to the advancement of humanity by creating fully controllable, tangible solutions to the myriad challenges facing modern society.
